TheCapitol.PN hacked, rebels promote Revolution.PN

It's time to check out TheCapitol.PN because it has been hacked by rebels!

When visiting the site, it'll seem business as usual at first but the background will change, elements of the site will start flickering, and you'll be prompted to visit another site Revolution.PN by clicking Join Us. Also we have a new hashtag #Unite.

This appears to be a new logo for the rebels/revolution! You can register by clicking Take A Stand, so expect to get updates from the rebels once you do!

We're absolutely loving the new poster and can't wait to see it on the walls of our local theaters.

Looks like another beautiful partly cloudy day in The Capitol.

BIG NEWS! TheCapitol.PN relaunched today as part of the #TickTock7 moment, and it is mighty impressive. You can check everything from your new D.I.P to the weather in your district. It really is quite an upgrade from the original Capitol PN, but then again it's Catching Fire so everything is bigger and better this time around.

The coolest things we found were an extended clip from the film of the victors training (CLICK HERE TO SEE! IT'S AWESOME!) and a new official Peacekeeper twitter with the bio "It is our duty to maintain the peace within our glorious capitol. To be a citizen of Panem is to respect the law." YIKES!!

Lionsgate Officially Kicks Off Victory Tour with Posters!

Capitol Tour: The Capitol Welcomes You!

TheCapitolTour.pn is open! You arrive in the train station where tribute trains are set to arrive, and a hologram Capitol lady welcomes you and is assures you how honored you must feel to be there! By exploring the guide, you have access to just about anything official The Hunger Games is set to release or have released already.

The Capitol tour, it seems, is just what it sounds like. Currently you can explore the Control Room and the Avenue of the Tributes. More tour stops will be released later. Check out our screengrabs!

Get A Physical DIP Card!!

Yesterday, news released that Lionsgate and Cafe Press partnered together to make the DIPs so many fans made an actual reality!

In a special promotion beginning on February 14th and continuing throughout the lifetime of the store, fans will also have a chance to create a free District ID Card* through a new exclusive HYPERLINK "http://www.becomeacitizen.pn/"Hunger Games Facebook application that will be available within the CafePress shop.  Any fan that registers for an ID card through the app can claim a physical ID card that shows among other things their district and job assignment. Existing "citizens of Panem" can also claim their free  HYPERLINK "http://www.becomeacitizen.pn/" The Hunger Games ID card* through the app.

While this continues to be one of the coolest marketing campaigns we've ever seen, we hope that they will eventually allow those who registered with Twitter to be able to sign in so we can get physical DIPs too!

Captiol Couture: Welcome To District 12 Receives Something From the Capitol!

Tiffany and I both received these in our mailboxes!

While we were out at the People's Choice Awards, Someone HAND DELIVERED this letter to my address. I didn't even know the postal service still did hand delivered things! Anywho, the letter was addressed to me along with a return address with the Capitol seal. Inside was the single business card shown above for Capitol Couture. We had been wondering what the password was for Capitol Couture and unfortunately, couldn't join in on the recent developments as we were too busy keeping an eye out for Jen, Josh and Liam. (Post on that adventure to be available soon!)

I want to take a moment to impart the quality of this business card. It is top notch quality, and there is even a "Capitol Sanctioned" water mark on the back. TOO COOL! I really have to say that The Capitol PN has done way more than I thought they were going to do with this viral marketing campaign. They have far exceeded expectations and are providing the coolest fan experience I have ever seen. Kudos to you, Lionsgate!

 Okay for the record, I totally tried #lookyourbest as the password when an image pulled from the source code was found. However, maybe The Capitol wasn't anticipating people to see that image that early so it wasn't able to entered. Anyway, onto Capitol Couture. How amazing is this image of Effie? I am really flabbergasted by this image. So beautiful, so outrageous, so.....Capitol! Seeing all this silk fabric reminds me of a moment in Mockingjay when Katniss buries herself in silked fabrics in a closet, I won't say where so as to not spoil anyone. But really if you can't be spoiled, why haven't you finished reading the series? Okay back to the subject. I love this detail, and LOVE the fact that it is a Tumblr site! You see so many different things on Tumblr, and even better we are on Tumblr as well! That is were Welcome to District 12 first started. So if you won't listen to me, at least listen to The Capitol PN! Get on Tumblr!

We can't wait to find out what Capitol Couture holds!

Lately, TheCapitolPN twitter has been saying something will happen today. This morning they have directed all of Panem's citizens to their respective district Square page to comment and wish their tributes luck as they depart for the Capitol. Have you commented yet?

The Hunger Games trailer held the hashtag, #HeadForTheSquare. Now, each district has a sort of option to run for Mayor on the Facebook page. It doesn't seem to be completely up and running, but enough for us to look forward to various citizens searching for as many endorsements as possible! Register now!

TheCapitol.pn District 4 D.I.P.s Have Been Released!

I haven't posted much about TheCapitol.pn, but to be honest it really didn't seem like I needed to. Hunger Games fans are flocking to TheCapitol.pn like crazy! I was put in District 4 (YES, FINNICK) and was DYING to know what my occupation would be. SHIP CAPTAIN! YA HAR!

So people keep expediting those DIPs, but really it's only a matter of days before everyone earns theirs, so no worries! Districts 1, 8, 10, and 11 are the only ones left, so the longest you'll have to wait for your district is about 4 days. Looks like District 11 may get theirs tomorrow! I'm really interested to see all the district seals, BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY: WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? I think that's the burning question we've all been answering ourselves ever since TheCapitol.pn came into our lives.

I guess we will just have to wait and see...
